KINOCLAN - WOMEN WITH CAMERAS

KinoClan is an NGO promoting social change by amplifying women’s voices. Raising a voice is the only way to articulate distress or a need, draw attention to injustice and shed light on ignored or silenced experiences and phenomena. Raising your voice is the first step to acknowledgment, validation and assistance – without which change is impossible.

KinoClan specializes in social activity integrated with a creative process. We believe that creative dialogue is the key for empowering and cultivating solidarity, and that the camera – an available, universal expression tool – is capable of bridging over verbal barriers.

KinoClan initiates and produces hands-on video workshops, film screenings and diverse collaborations, providing women with a safe space and audiovisual tools with which each can tell her own story.
