KinoClan’s first international collaboration was developed with the Berlin Feminist Film Week. The project consisted of two twin-events, held simultaneously in Tel Aviv and Berlin on the 2017 International Women’s Day. Both events included a screening of 5 short films by Israeli and German women directors. Dedicated to creating a dialogue between women artists and their communities – both screenings were followed by live discussions with the filmmakers. The Tel Aviv screening included a special program of pocket films made in kinoClan’s International Women’s Day Workshop 2017.
The project was supported by the German-Israeli Future Forum and the Heinrich Böll Foundation.
